Week 6 of No More Weight Loss Resolution
Congrats on making it through these 6 weeks together!
I wanted you to learn how to focus on the things that you actually have a say in. Things like paying more attention to small changes, choices you make, routines you create and how your body responds to them.
That by being more aware of things like this, you can create a bigger impact and understanding than just the number on the scale.
See how we didn’t focus on that or even numbers at all during this challenge?
Check out The No More Weight Loss Resolution Plan for the full 6 week breakdown
If you want to step on the scale, I can’t stop you.
But I’d also encourage you to just pay attention to how you feel compared to before.
There will always be outside factors that affect your day-to-day number on the scale. But with changing how you view a healthy lifestyle, your body will start to trust you more and let go of any excess weight you’re holding.
If you need a refresher of Week 5, be sure to check that out.
Otherwise, let’s dive into the progress you’ve made and where to go from here!
Reflecting on Your Progress
I want you to start by looking at your first Wheel of Life that we did back in Week 1 of the challenge. Do you notice a difference in how you feel about certain areas now, compared to before?
Also, take a look at the goals you wrote down that first week too. What goals have you met, what ones are you still working on, and what ones have changed since the beginning?
Remember, it’s not failing a goal, but maybe needing to adjust or take more time to achieve it.
It can even be things like noticing your energy has been more stable, your stress seems more manageable, you want to move daily, etc.
I want you to really dive into what change you’ve noticed over the last 6 weeks and write it down.
Defining Your New Baseline
Now that you’ve reflected on this challenge, what have you noticed is coming easy to you now? Things that you no longer have to think about because it’s just part of your daily life now.
Maybe you’re eating breakfast daily, bringing water with you wherever you go, have your daily walk outside, reduced your scrolling time on your phone, started that book you’ve been wanting to read, managed your stress better through breathing and creating more flexibility.
Because success doesn’t happen with perfect routines or strict schedules. It happens from you choosing to keep working at something over time.
We’re creating that long-term success.
So with that, what do you want to keep, and what do you want to work on?
The goal of your healthy baseline is so you can fall back on it during difficult or unknown times. To give you a sense of healthy control when life gets crazy, and a way for you to still take care of yourself.
So getting 3 meals a day in, and having easy snacks and meals to make when you’re short on time.
Going on a daily walk, whether you have time to workout or not.
Making sure you have 30 minutes to yourself to do something fun just for you.
Stopping to breathe before making a rash decision in a stressful situation.
These are the things I want you to acknowledge and work to build off of, knowing that this is the base you can confidently fall back on.
And building off of this is only going to solidify the baseline even more.
Setting Future Goals and New Wheel of Life
Now, just because our time together is done, doesn’t mean that you’re just going back to how things were before. You worked hard to get here, and we’re going to keep going!
So we’re going to start with doing one more Wheel of Life. I have it linked here for you to use again.
Make sure you’re honest about where you’re currently at. Have some things changed while others stayed the same? Did you forget about an area and realize it’s started to suffer from neglect?
Be honest.
Once you have your new circle, I want you to make 4 more goals.
These can be new goals or continuations to the goals you had 6 weeks ago. But again, I want 1 food goal, 1 movement goal, 1 hobby goal, and a final goal you get to decide on.
And from here, we’re going to dive into the new year!
Since you’ve joined me so far, we’re actually going to be focusing all of 2027 on achieving these goals and more in the coming months together!
Until then, I want you to work on solidifying even more what you’ve been working on so far. That way, when 2027 is here, you already have a foundation we can continue to build off of.
Check out The Year of Health and Hobbies to see exactly what we’ll cover
We’ll actually be spending the last few weeks of the year prepping and preparing for your Year of Health and Hobbies!
Diving into being really specific about your goals, going over how we’re going to achieve them together, and making sure you’re clear on making it possible for you now.
And we’re going to do that by starting the year changing how you view numbers in Freedom From Numbers.
If you haven’t joined the Diary yet, then now’s the time! January is coming up, and we want to keep building off of all the work you’ve done so far!
It’s time for you to finally achieve the goals you keep writing year after year. And I can’t wait to do that with you!
