Freedom From Numbers
You’ve been chasing “have you lost weight” for years now, thinking it will help you feel better about yourself. But instead, you’re exhausted, afraid of food, not working out and not happy about the reflection in the mirror.
What if I told you that this approach is not helping you?
I’m going to show you how ditching the numbers can help you reach those goals A LOT faster.
Over the next month we will dive into how exactly we’re going to ditch numbers when it comes to health, creating healthier relationships and approaches to food and fitness, and getting you ready for a successful Year of Health and Hobbies.
We’ll be going through this LIVE together starting in January. So be sure to join me in the Diary where I’ll be sending you all of this weekly straight to your inbox for FREE!
Now, let’s dive into exactly what that’s going to look like over the next 4 weeks.

Changing your goals and mindset around numbers
This is week 1 of the challenge and we’re starting the year off strong! All the numbers you keep track of, we’re getting rid of.
So that means no stepping on the scale for the next 4 weeks, no tracking macros, no tracking weights in the gym and no tracking steps.
Instead, what we’re going to focus on is restructuring your goals and mindset around what those numbers mean, and how how a quick mindset shift, and feeling of safety will make those goals seem a lot more achievable
This really sets the foundation and approach we’re going to be taking for the next year. So a great thing to work through!
Feeling safe with food
This will be week 2 of the challenge, and something that we’ll dive into more specifically throughout the year, but a good starting point.
If you’ve been dieting, counting calories, weighting food, anything along those lines for an extended amount of time, this will be good and hard for you.
Of course there’s a time and place that, but not here. You’ve done enough, honestly too much work around calories and extreme diets, we need to take a new approach.
Now’s the time to introduce the experimental mindset to ditch the scale, tracking apps and restrictive diets to feel safe and in control.

This week will be all about learning to get comfortable with food again and how to start trusting yourself. We’ll dive deeper into that in February, but this is going to be a great starting point!
Reframing exercise
In week 3 of the challenge, it’s time to change how you view your workouts and fitness as a whole. I want to challenge you to think about and try shorter workouts, to prove to yourself that it’s possible.
You aren’t going to shrink, you aren’t going to lose everything, you may actually see more and better progress if you constantly train 5-6 days a week for hours.
We’ll focus on using your new goals from the first week, to shape and encourage you to create and stick with YOUR ideal workout routine and shape the body you want.
I have TONS of free workout ideas on the blog, as well as paid offers in my Shop you can check out. But we’ll be diving into this hard in March, so stay tuned for that! For now, it’ll be focusing on setting the expectation for it.
The facts on why this works
Week 4 is bringing it all together. For 31 days you’re going to have focused on challenging and changing your mindset around success, progress and control. So then for the rest of the year, we can keep making those new beliefs stronger.
I’ll explain how and why this is working for you in the first few weeks, and how sticking with this and making it a lasting change WILL bring the results, freedom and ease you’re craving.
But again, this doesn’t have to end here. In my Year of Health and Hobbies, I’m going to be breaking all of this down into manageable chunks throughout the year. Helping you create manageable changes that compound on each other.
Reinforcing that slow progress creates lasting results. Because we’re here for a long time, and setting a solid standard you can stick with and mold as life happens is going to be the thing that keeps you going.
So if you haven’t already joined me in the Diary, where I’m going to be sending you all of this, plus tools, weekly videos and fun challenges to help implement, be sure to do it!
I want you to see it’s possible to create healthy changes without needing to sacrifice your life and question your sanity. It’s time for you to feel free from the numbers.
